FAST-ACT September Event Highlights: Expanding Training & Global Engagement

This September, FAST-ACT continues its mission of equipping first responders and defense partners with proven chemical decontamination solutions. From North Carolina to Tennessee and across the Atlantic to London, our team and partners showcased how FAST-ACT technology strengthens readiness, supports CBRN defense, and reinforces global security initiatives.

USMC Demo – Camp Lejeune, NC

The FAST-ACT team recently had the privilege of conducting a demo at the U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.

A particular highlight was the positive response to our 400g FAST-ACT Pressurized Cylinder and FAST-ACT Decontamination Mitts. These compact, easy-to-deploy solutions are designed for immediate response to chemical threats, ensuring personnel and equipment can be quickly decontaminated in the field.

  • FAST-ACT 400g Pressurized Cylinder: Lightweight and portable for quick deployment in fast-moving situations.

  • Decontamination Mitts: Provide a fast, effective way to decontaminate skin and gear without the need for water or extensive setup.

We’re proud to support the USMC in strengthening their CBRN readiness and ensuring Marines have the tools they need for rapid, effective decon.

DSEI London 2025

Our valued partner, CS Comms Limited, exhibited at DSEI London 2025, one of the world’s leading defense and security events.

This international platform brought together defense, government, and security leaders, providing an opportunity to highlight FAST-ACT’s proven decontamination technology to a global audience. By partnering with CS Comms, FAST-ACT continues to expand its reach, supporting agencies and organizations worldwide with chemical threat neutralization solutions.

FAST-ACT Demos

Memphis Fire Department- September 8th

FAST-ACT partnered with the Memphis Fire Department for a hands-on demonstration of dry decontamination technology. The session provided firefighters with practical training on deploying FAST-ACT in chemical response scenarios, reinforcing its role as a rapid and effective tool for protecting responders and the community.

Maine Fire Department- September 12th

Response teams from Maine DEP, Civil Support, and HAZMAT units took part in live FAST-ACT demonstrations showcasing advanced chemical neutralization. Attendees saw real-time results with acid neutralization and TIC/CWA simulants, while the SPEEDS system stood out for its rapid, mess-free setup in confined spaces. The training also underscored how winter conditions limit wet decon, reinforcing the value of dry decon solutions.

Miami-Dade Fire Department- September 16th

In collaboration with Safeware, Inc., FAST-ACT conducted a hands-on demonstration with the Miami Fire Department focused on dry decontamination technology. Miami FD personnel trained on deploying FAST-ACT in chemical response scenarios, gaining skills for rapid, efficient decon that minimizes downtime and environmental impact. The initiative highlights Miami FD’s proactive commitment to responder and community safety.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and ValleyHealth Hospitals- September 23rd

Valleywise Health hosted a hospital emergency dry decontamination demonstration with the FAST-ACT team, joined by participants from multiple medical systems. The session highlighted how FAST-ACT accelerates response times, improves safety for staff and patients, and reduces cross-contamination risks. Hospitals are increasingly turning to FAST-ACT as a proven, efficient alternative to traditional decon methods—supported by independent testing for safety, versatility, and effectiveness.

San Diego Fire Department- September 30th

Did you know FAST-ACT Wipes are tested and validated to remove radiological particles? The San Diego Fire Department recently put this into practice during a training with the Radiation Emergency Safety team. Both the FAST-ACT Decontamination Mitts and FAST-ACT Decontamination Wipes were demonstrated as frontline tools for safe and effective response.

The FAST-ACT team conducted several live training demos with different departments, giving first responders the opportunity to experience our decontamination solutions in action.

The session allowed participants to see firsthand how quickly our technology can neutralize hazardous materials, including chemical vapors and fentanyl contamination.

Feedback from the training highlighted the speed and simplicity of deploying FAST-ACT in the field—critical for ensuring that firefighters can return to service quickly and safely after exposure incidents. By combining demonstration with hands-on application, FAST-ACT reinforced the importance of preparedness in responding to unknown chemical threats, overdose calls, or large-scale hazmat events.
