FAQs

How do I know how much FAST-ACT® I should apply to a spill?

show-content show-content

You cannot apply too much FAST-ACT®. A good rule is to apply enough FAST-ACT® to fully contain the chemical spill, supporting effective chemical decontamination procedures.

If I only use part of the shaker, can I keep the unused portion?

show-content show-content

Yes, just seal the package back up to preserve the remaining dry decontamination solution for future emergency response or decontamination processes.

How do I dispose of the treated residue?

show-content show-content

Dispose of the treated residue based on local regulations. For some wastes, it may be landfillable. For others, even when that chemical agent or hazardous substance has been rendered safer, it may need to be disposed of as hazardous waste, in accordance with safety and decontamination protocols.
